The Photonics and Optoelectronics Network PHOENIX is a networking partnership of the Photonics Cluster Berlin Brandenburg by Berlin Partner and the OpTecBB e. V.
Quantum technologies for the development and use of novel sensors and for communication currently have the greatest potential for exceeding the threshold of practical suitability. The PHOENIX network aims to strengthen and to intensify cooperation between the German capital region and Japan in this sector.
Innovative laser technology for use in battery research and manufacturing enables optimized manufacturing processes, efficient connections between the battery cells and new battery concepts. The German capital region shows strong initiatives in battery research and manufacturing. The PHOENIX network promotes the strategically important partnership between regional companies and Japan.
