Our solutions ensure long-term durability and stable performance even under extreme conditions such as cryogenic temperatures and radiation exposure.

Single-mode, multimode, and polarization-maintaining fiber configurations integrated into standard or custom flanges (CF, KF, ISO, etc.). Our in-house sealing technology and extensive experience provide high mechanical stability, minimal signal loss, and consistent operation in environments involving vacuum, pressure, oils, aggressive gases, or other extreme physical conditions.

V-groove Fiber Array

V-groove Fiber Array

High-precision custom V-groove fiber arrays for SM, MM, PM, MCF, and UHNA fibers. SQS portfolio includes standard arrays, collimated arrays with microlens arrays (MLA), lidless or recessed-cover variants and UHNA fiber arrays for edge coupling to photonic chips. All array types are available for cryogenic, ultra-high vacuum (UHV), and stress-free fiber bonding applications.

For out-of-plane (vertical) fiber-to-chip coupling, SQS provide low-profile arrays that use total internal reflection on the fiber array’s front facet.

SQS ultra-precise V-grooves are produced with state-of-the-art dicing saws, enabling customer-specific geometries with sub-micron fiber placement accuracy.

2D Matrix Fiber Array

2D Matrix Fiber Array

SQS 2D matrix fiber arrays are manufactured with high fiber positioning accuracy and minimal tilt. SQS provides arrays with fully custom arrangements of SM, PM, MM, UHNA, and MCF fibers.

Fiber end can be terminated with standard connectors such as MPO, MT, MMC, FC, LC, E2000, SC, ST, or with another fiber array. The front facet is precisely polished either flat or at angles of 6° or 8°, or at custom angle. Optionally may be coated with an anti-reflective layer to reduce optical losses. For collimated outputs, an MLA can be actively aligned and bonded to the array.
