BROADBAND POLARIZATION-ENTANGLED PHOTON SOURCE

This fiber-based device is a compact, robust, and alignment-free source of broadband polarization-entangled photon pairs. Based on
periodically-poled silica fiber (PPSF) technology, it features turn-key, room-temperature operation, and needs little maintenance. The
all-fiber design makes it environmentally stable for challenging applications such as space-based instruments. It generates high-quality
polarization-entangled photon pairs at telecom wavelengths with more than 80 nm of bandwidth.

HIGH-SPEED BENCHTOP POLARIZATION CONTROLLER-SCRAMBLER

Is a bench-top device that can control and/or scramble the polarization state of light passing through a fiber optic system. The HSPC-1000 generates four independent waveforms, operating at user-selectable frequencies, to generate different polarization states. It can also provide user-adjustable steady state signals to generate a particular polarization state.

FIBER VARIABLE SPLITTERS

Provide coupling ratios tunable from 0% to 100% with negligible optical loss. The device consists of two sidepolished fibers mated to induce evanescent field coupling. The coupling ratio is controlled by adjusting the distance between the cores of the two side-polished fibers. PM fiber models with customer specified birefringence axis alignment are available.

Pulse Compressor

This compact device utilizes nonlinear effects from an optical fiber to surpass peak electric field limitations from an ultrafast optical source. After fixing the device to the output of the source, only minor adjustments are needed to increase the peak electric field by a factor of more than two.

RGB (Red/Green/Blue) Combiner and Delivery Systems

A common application today is the combination of visible laser light of different wavelengths into a single fiber. Such systems are used in a variety of applications where one wants to produce full color images. By combining red, green and blue light and varying the intensities of the signals, one can reproduce practically any color desired.

High Resolution Optical Spectrometer

OZ Optics presents a cost-effective and high-end optical spectrometer.
A special transmission grating is designed to realize exceptional sensitivity while reaching high SNR ratio, with an excellent spectral resolution over the entire operating wavelength range. A sensitive and high pixel density CCD chip is customized to suppress grating high-order noise.

Universal Optical DNA Rapid Detection System for Pathogens

OZ Optics developed a compact and reliable instrument capable of detecting pathogens at a fraction of the cost of qPCR machines.
LAMPPY™ uses isothermal amplification to detect pathogen DNA, and with a melt analysis option to verify the presence of the target DNA sequence.

High Speed Electro-Optic Polarization Controller-Scrambler

OZ Optics' High Speed Electro-Optic Polarization Controller is based on a novel, low-loss high speed free space Electro-Optic crystal technology. It provides a simple, efficient means to quickly manipulate the state of polarization by applying an external voltage. The device is ideal for precise test and measurement applications.

High Resolution Optical Spectrometers

OZ Optics offers a handheld optical spectrometer featuring
high optical resolution over a wide spectral range covering
ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared measurements.
OZ Optics uniquely implements a transmission grating
to reach the maximum possible optical sensitivity,
while the optical noise is filtered out using customized
coatings on the detection chip. A touchscreen display,
intuitive user interface, and access to optical spectroscopy
libraries are granted for rapid analysis and generating
informative reports. An OEM version with a USB
interface is also available for custom applications.

photon sources to support the growing field of quantum information science. They are offered in rackmount configurations and cover a broad wavelength range extending from the near infrared through to the short-wave infrared. Each source can be further customized for niche applications.

High Speed Electro-Optic Polarization Controller Scrambler

High Speed Electro-Optic Polarization Controllers
provide an efficient means to manipulate the state of polarization. Devices are offered with 2 to 4 channels. The built-in crystal response time is < 10 us with external voltage applied. The controller's response speed is highly suitable for polarization controlling and scrambling to average polarization effects or for making PDL or PMD measurements. We offer the driver as a separate unit on demand.
